Pipe Shutter
This device is installed in the ducts of the facility to provide environmental protection in case of accidental spill or to prevent the infiltration of contaminated products into the public network, generated for example by a fire of the facility.
The sealing system allows rainwater to pass under normal conditions, keeping the shutter in the upper part of the duct and, in the event of an accidental spillage of a chemical, the shutter is inflated preventing the flow of contaminated water outward.
The shutter stands out for its quick and easy installation, since it does not require great civil engineering works to be put in place. The shutter can be operated by means of a button installed on the control panel, which eliminates the need to have to go down to the duct. Once the shutter has finished its function, deflation will be done first by deactivating the pneumatic emergency button and then activating a vacuum ejector to suck all the air that may have remained in the ball.
The shutters are available in diameters from 150 mm to 1,000 mm.
