APQ (Storage of Chemical Products)

Before the construction of a new plant or storage, Tandem HSE can do an initial APQ study then, based on it, proceed with the design of the facilities. We deal with the monitoring of the work in its entirety.

We take care of the tanks, pipes, equipment and civil work or we can offer you prebuilt warehouses, always following the current regulations in place.

You can also trust us to take care of the design of containment systems and the management of contaminated water resulting from the eventual fire extinction.

All the installations and storage of chemical products of an industrial plant must be performing internal annual internal revisions according to the article 4 of the Reglamento de Almacenaje y Productos Químicos (regulation for storage and chemical products), including also periodic revisions of the fixed tanks.

Tandem HSE offers you the possibility of hiring an independent external inspector for annual APQ inspections, as well as for the five-year reviews of tanks and metal pipes, including thickness measurement, and internal inspection of non-metallic tanks.

Keep in mind that the chemical products storage regulation affects the chemical industry but also any other type of industry in which chemical products are used or stored, even if only for cleaning and maintenance operations.
