Sandbag barriers require a lot of time and effort for their construction, which ends up being ineffective and, often, the time, strength and materials required for the job are not available during the flood episode. As a result, there is great damage to the land and property.<\/p>\n<p>The Oeko-Tec double containment tube (DCT) system uses water\u2019s own weight to ensure an effective and viable dam to prevent water from entering the facilities.
